The tradition of carpet weaving in Konya, former capital of the Seljuks, goes back to the 13th century.  This Yeşilyurt carpet has contrasting bold colors like green ,red, blue and yellow. Both the warp and weaving threads are wool. It is composed of a red medallion and green-blue corner and border elements. It would fit in to rustic, boho, eclectic and modern even minimal interiors as an eye-catcher. It can increase the value of living rooms, libraries, bed rooms and provide coziness.
